Located between Manduria and the sea, in ‘red soil’ area on drained calcium substrate. Average age of the vineyard: 75 years. Maximum yield: 35 ql per hectare.
Tasting notes: Grape variety Primitivo 100%
Colour: Impenetrable red
Aromas: Dense fruit of black cherry, liqueur plum and tobacco with hints of caramel
Taste Powerful: opulent with a total envelopment of sweet fruit.
Winemaking notes: Manual harvest in small crates Fermentation in small vats with punching down by hand and temperature controlled at 28°C. Very soft pressing with a press traditional manual press. Matured in Allier oak barrels for 14 months.
Matured In bottle for at least 18 months.
